The average cost, per month, to care for a large breed dog at our rescue is $100.00. This includes food, heartworm pills and shelter. It does not include veterinarian visits.
 

• Good quality dog food-our dogs are fed twice each day.
• Any type of dog treats-treats are good training tools for dogs. We try to teach the basic commands and a treat really helps.
• Heartworm pills-these pills are given nine moths of the year to prevent the dogs from contracting Heartworm. These pills cost $40.00 per month for each dog.
• Dog grooming tools-grooming time is a special time for each dog. It is their time to be pampered. Some of the rescued dogs have never been brushed or felt a gentle hand before they came to us. Grooming is just one of the ways we provide each dog with individualized attention. We also do our own haircuts.
